Welcome to our website
The general focus of our research is innovative synthetic method development. Key topics include, but are not limited to: cross dehydrogenative coupling reactions (CDCs), radical coupling reactions, oxidative CC, CN and NN coupling reactions, transition metal catalysis, metal catalyzed CH bond activation reactions, enantioselective and atroposelective catalysis, tellurium catalysis, heterocycles of all sizes, especially those with organic materials and/or bioactivity applications, ring strained organic molecules, reaction mechanisms, 17O NMR and its applications in organic chemistry, as well as total synthesis. Our research so far has been mainly funded by DFG, SFB, and ERC grants, as well as numerous individual fellowships.
